Reynoldsburg Military Banner Program

Reynoldsburg Military Banner Program

The City of Reynoldsburg has launched a Military Banner program to recognize the sons and daughters of Reynoldsburg who are currently serving or hold Veteran status from a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. The program will feature the individual’s military photo on full-color, double-sided banners and be suspended from the light poles in Reynoldsburg along East Main Street.

Applicants may purchase a banner for $75; reservations for space will be accepted on a first-come, first served basis beginning in September 2019 and ending October 18, 2019. Because of the projected popularity for this program and a limited number of poles, applicants will be added to a waitlist for the next year if applicable. First priority for the program will be given to Reynoldsburg residents (proof of residency will be required e.g., copy of utility bill, driver's license). Second priority will extend to residents of the Reynoldsburg City School District.

Applicants must provide a high-resolution digital image or scan of their military member’s photo(s). High-resolution means it is at least 300 dots-per-inch (DPI) ensuring the photos contain enough detail for print quality purposes.
Banners will be displayed during the month of May and again in November to coincide with Veterans’ Day. After a banner is posted for the two-month terms, it will be returned to the individual(s) who purchased it the first week of December (excluding the first year of 2019, banners will be returned after Memorial Day).
Applicants may request their banner be displayed the following year if the banner is in serviceable condition for $40 and received by the Parks & Recreation Department within the registration window.
If your banner is damaged, destroyed or weather worn, you may replace it at current single banner cost of $75.
