City Receives Grant for Major Livingston Avenue Project
The city was recently informed that our grant application for a Livingston Avenue improvement project was reviewed and approved! The City of Reynoldsburg will receive a grant from the Ohio Public Works Commission SCIP Program for the $3.8 million project that will include road resurfacing from Brice to the five-way intersection, curb repair, crosswalk enhancements, and the installation of a new multi-use path.
This project will address a major need for the city and we were very excited to receive the news of another successful grant application. Design engineering for the project will occur throughout 2015 and construction will begin in the spring of 2016.
At the conclusion of construction, just under $9 million of improvements will have been made to Brice Road and Livingston Avenue between 2014 and 2016. More information about the Livingston Avenue Project will be made available in the coming months and throughout 2015.
