Office of the Mayor

Mayor Joe Begeny holds “office hours” from 6pm to 7pm before Council meetings, usually the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month, and well as by appointment.

The Mayor is elected by the Citizens of Reynoldsburg and is responsible for the Administration of the City. The Administration includes, Public Safety, Public Services, Clerk of Courts, Parks and Recreation, Computer Department, Development, City Engineer and Human Resources.

I would like the Mayor to speak at my group/school. Will he do this?

Yes, Mayor Begeny does come and speak with groups or classes. Please allow a minimum of two weeks for scheduling. Some common topics he has spoken about before are; State of the City, Economic Development, and Serving as Mayor. For more information, contact his office at (614) 322-6809.

If I want to solicit for charity, how can I do this?

Soliciting for charity is allowed in the City of Reynoldsburg at specified intersections with a permit. Charitable Organizations means an organization that is currently recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as 501(c) (3). If you meet these requirement submit the application on the right to the Mayor's office.
